Robert Eastwood has published three chapbooks and four books: Snare (Broadstone Press, 2016). Romer (Etruscan Press, 2017), Locus/Loci (Main Street Rag, 2019), and Cantata Angeleno (Broadstone Press, 2021). He is widely published in journals, both online and in print, and many anthologies. He has been nominated three times for the Pushcart Prize (Yes, as David Alpaugh would point out, but you haven't won). He is a former vice-president of the Ina Coolbrith Circle, and currently serves on the Executive Board and maintains the organization's website (coolpoetry.org). He also serves on the poetry staff of The MacGuffin Reader, and is a coordinator for the Poets' Society writing group. He is a graduate of C.S.U.L.A. and the Secondary Teaching Program at Saint Mary’s College. Before teaching high school and becoming a poet he worked for over three decades as a manager in the telecommunications industry.
Robert's presentation will be followed by an open mic.
